Maximus Tribe: 87% greater scale and improved efficiency with creative testing and native AI targeting

Maximus Tribe is a high-growth B2C brand that provides safe, cutting-edge, doctor-prescribed medical protocols for men to achieve optimal health & performance. They partnered with Playbook to scale sales of their flagship product on Facebook while keeping costs efficient – all while respecting the strict privacy standards of the health industry that curtailed targeting options.

The Playbook Media Approach

The Playbook team began by using creative produced by Maximus and analyzed performance to make recommendations on further creative versions. In total, we tested 19 creative themes that helped us engage valuable audience pockets – particularly important because we had to use broad targeting from the outset to respect the sensitive data-sharing standards of the health industry.

We rapidly scaled our ads based on lower-funnel performance, which allowed us to feed learnings into Facebook’s algorithm. Ultimately, we increased Maximus’ marketing spend by 87% in four months, all while improving their CPAs and ROAS.
